Sweet and Sour Breaded Pork with Pineapple

Have been cooking spicy yummies, now how about something sweet and sour? This dish has been cooked for so many times already and with lots of variations. I am sharing this for newbie cooks and for those who want to learn it the easy step-by step way, as I usually do.

SWEET AND SOUR BREADED PORK WITH PINEAPPLE





Ingredients:

  • 1 kilo Pork cubes
  • 2 cups Crispy fry 
  • 2 carrots. sliced
  • 2 bell peppers, quartered
  • 1 onion, quartered
  • 4 cloves garlic, chopped
  • spring oinions
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/2 cup tidbits
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup catsup
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • salt, pepper, MSG
  • 2 Tbsp cornstarch dissolved in 1/4 cup water





Let's cook!
  • Coat the pork cubes with Crispy fry.
  • Heat oil and deep fry the pork cubes. Set aside.
  • Combine in another pan the soy sauce, sugar, catsup, pineapple juice, garlic. Mix well and let boil,
  • Add the carrots.
  • When the carrots has softened a bit, add the bell peppers and spring onions.
  • Season to taste. 
  • Mix in the pineapple tidbits. Leave a few pieces for garnishing.
  • Add the fried pork cubes and mix together, making sure the pork cubes are covered with the sauce.
  • After 3 minutes, turn off heat. Transfer to a serving platter.
  • Done!

The fusion of flavors. Sweet and sour. Crisp veggies and pork cubes!Delicious!
