Spicy Lemongrass Chicken Wings (Tanglad Chicken)

It's chicken wings on the menu today. I bought lemongrass at the supermarket when we did our grocery shopping yesterday. We all know that lemon grass or Tanglad has long been used as flavoring in Asian cooking. When added to recipes, the citrus-like flavor of the lemongrass herb powder or dried leaf adds a unique element to the meal. Lemongrass also has a lot of medicinal uses.

When available, we also put lemongrass in cooking rice. Lechon and roasted meat becomes more flavorful when lemongrass or tanglad is added. That is why I am putting lemongrass in our recipe today for that added flavor!
