Hi! I wanted to cook something different for lunch today using chicken drumsticks. A recipe hovering on being sweet and gingery. So, here goes!

Hi! I wanted to cook something different for lunch today using chicken drumsticks. A recipe hovering on being sweet and gingery. So, here goes!
GLAZED SESAME CHICKEN DRUMSTICKS
Ingredients:
- 1 kilo chicken drumsticks
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 3 TBSPS. Hoisin sauce
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup grated ginger
- 4 cloves minced garlic
- 1 small onion chopped
- chopped spring onions
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
- 1/2 cup water
- salt, pepper
Let's cook!
- Heat oil in pan and brown chicken drumsticks. Prick the chicken to make sure inside of chicken will be cooked well. Set aside.
- Combine all the other ingredients in another pan. Let boil. Season to taste.
- Allow the sauce to thicken, then add the chicken. (For a thicker sauce, you may add 2 TBSP cornstarch dissolved in 1/2 cup water)
- Make sure the chicken is covered well with the sauce. Simmer for about 5 minutes or until the sauce has infused with the chicken'
- Turn off heat. Transfer to a serving platter and serve with rice or steamed vegetables.
