Thinking of another recipe that could compare to the food served in 5-star hotels? How about Baked Buttered Tahong (Mussels) with Cheese? The melted butter and cheese combined with the tahong simply tastes soooo delicious!

Ingredients:

Thinking of another recipe that could compare to the food served in 5-star hotels? How about Baked Buttered Tahong (Mussels) with Cheese? The melted butter and cheese combined with the tahong simply tastes soooo delicious!
BAKED BUTTERED TAHONG with CHEESE
Ingredients:
- 1 kilo tahong
- 1 cup butter, melted
- 5 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 cup grated cheese
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- chopped parsley
- salt, pepper
Let's cook!
- Wash and clean tahong.
- Boil the tahong in 5 cups water for about 15 minutes or until the shells open.
- Remove and discard the top shell.
- Combine and mix in a bowl the melted butter, garlic, breadcrumbs, salt and pepper.
- Bake in oven toaster for 5 minutes. (You may bake this also in the regular oven for 2 minutes at 150 degrees Centigrade)
It tastes so yummy, you may need to cook at least 2 kilos next time! It's a melt-in-the-mouth dish that would make you crave, just thinking about it!
